Kelly Clarkson Reveals She Spent Summer in Montana With Ex-Husband Brandon Blackstock and Their Kids

Kelly Clarkson opens up about her summer vacation in Montana with her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, and their kids, River and Remington.
Kelly and Brandon finalized their divorce back in March, and this was a much-needed time together for their two kids. The singer has been open about navigating her new life as a single mom.

Kelly - was married to Brandon between 2013 and 2021 - Kelly reportedly said, "It’s obviously been a rough couple years so it was really important to me to, like, shut down for a minute."
"I literally four-wheeled in the mountains, and I have a lot of water on my property so my sister, my nephew and I, and a couple friends just spent the whole summer in the mountains, just hanging out in nature."
"It was nice because they usually have to travel a lot because of our separation so we were both in Montana so, it was the first time I think my kids felt more centered as well."
"So, I care 100 percent more about my children than I do anything else on this planet. So, that's been the hard thing of, like, yes, I'm willing to share my experience and yes, it is the worst."

Clarkson bought the 14 acres in 2019 while still married to Blackstock, and they battled over the ranch during their divorce.
The songwriter was initially awarded the property during divorce proceedings in October 2021, but her ex argued that the abode was “marital property” and not included in their prenup.
When Clarkson attempted to get him evicted from the ranch two months later, a judge refused the motion.
In January, the singer agreed to give her ex-husband 5.12 percent of the property.
Their divorce was finalized two months later.
The “Kelly Clarkson Show” host did not specify on Tuesday interview whether she herself spent any time with Blackstock while they co-parented their kids this summer on the Montana ranch.
